Hijos de la Guerra cuenta la historia de la Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), una pandilla Hispana internacional fundada por refugiados salvadorenos de la guerra Civil, quien ha sido catalogada por el gobierno de Estados Unidos como la pandilla mas violenta y de mayor crecimiento en el pais. El Documental explora las motivaciones individuales detras de cada miembro y la complejidad de la explosion de violencia fraticida, como tambien la participacion del gobierno y su politica social. Hijos De La Guerra es el primer documental que cuenta la verdadera historia de la Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13).

Hijos de la Guerra tells the story of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), an international Hispanic street gang founded by Salvadoran civil war refugees, which the U.S government singles out as the fastest-growing and most violent gang in the country. The film explores the individual motivations behind gang membership and the ensuing explosion of fratricidal violence, as well as the complex role of social and government policy.
