The Southern California Emergency Committee On Humans Rights in El Salvador Presents: HIJOS DE LA GUERRA
Hijos de la Guerra tells the story of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), an international Hispanic street gang founded by Salvadoran civil war refugees, which the U.S government singles out as the fastest-growing and most violent gang in the country. The film explores the individual motivations behind gang membership and the ensuing explosion of fratricidal violence, as well as the complex role of social and government policy.
HIJOS DE LA GUERRA ("Children of the War") is the first feature-length documentary film to tell the history of the MS-13. http://www.hijosdelaguerra.com/hijos.html
